If you're searching for a blockbuster that's not your average run-of-the-mill Bollywood fare, we've got you covered! We've rounded up the 5 best Hindi movies of 2019, and we'll tell you what makes each one special. If you haven't heard yet, Disney and Fox (the company that owns 20th Century Fox) are merging forces. The Disney+ streaming service is due to launch in November this year, with plenty of shows already lined up to stream. When the hero and heroine fall in love and overcome great adversity and challenges, it's a sure bet that they'll end up at the altar. But what happens when the hero turns out to be an invincible superhero who must save his one true love, or his life? Such is the case of "Kahaani 2", which opens with a superheroic stuntman's (Rishi Kapoor) accident as he saves his girlfriend (Sonakshi Sinha) from a train crash. Because he isn't injured, he realises that he was actually an alien. He then wakes up as a super-soldier and rescues her from other miscreants. And in the process, he saves Mumbai from certain doom. Sonakshi Sinha, is quite good in her role of the lovable girl whose only ambition is to marry Rishi Kapoor. Rishi is superb as Mr Angry Man of Hindi cinema who suddenly becomes an invincible superhero. The chemistry between the two comes across beautifully on screen, with both actors trying their best to make us believe that they are indeed in love with each other. Director Sujoy Ghosh has given us some brilliant films in the past. His last effort "1982" was about small-town mentalities and how it imbibes unnecessary aggression into young minds. Similarly, the story in "Kahaani 2" is primarily about how a modern-day superhero and his heroine save Mumbai from certain doom. "Kahaani 2: Temptation" could've been a grand setup to take Hindi cinema to greater heights. But sadly, the film comes up short of its promise. The screenplay by Sameer Sharma is weak and the execution leaves much to be desired. This should've been a great ride, but sadly it ends up like a disappointing episode of "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain". Jhilmil is the only child in the family which was blessed with three daughters and one son Jagdish aka Jhilmil. But Jhilmil's father Bhairav Singh wants a son and Jhilmil is forced to start living the life of a son. But later when Jhilmil was about to get married her father comes to know that all his daughters are having internal conflicts with each other and he decides to let this marriage happen. The story of "Gippi" is unique but it doesn't follow its plot in the right way. It also gives you an impression that the film was made in haste. The lead actors, Darsheel Safary and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, do their best. But they aren't given much to work with in this film which lacks purpose and focus. cfa1e77820
